AI guides for people, not press releases

AI moved faster than the explanations did. Somewhere between the research papers and the hype threads, the practical middle went missing: which of these tools should I actually use, and how? My Guide to AI exists to fill that gap.

What we do

We write practical, tested, plain-English guides to AI: the models and chatbots, the tools worth your time, the business workflows that pay off, and the fundamentals that make everything else click. Every recommendation comes from hands-on use, not a vendor's feature list.

How we work

  • We test what we recommend. If we say a free tier is usable, we used it.
  • We say what doesn't work. Honest limits beat breathless hype.
  • We write in plain English. If a sentence needs a glossary, we rewrite the sentence.
  • We update. AI changes monthly; dated advice gets revised or retired.
